I have visited a place “The Hideaway” with my gay friend. It was a gay lounge where musical night was arranged. I decided to attend the event due to my gay friend who often visited that place with his partner. I appreciate good singing that is why I had chosen to attend the function with my friend. The event was different and special because the place and lounge were especially for the gay community. It is the one of the favorite place for homosexuals.

Homosexuality is considered as a stigma in our society where most of the people see homosexual with the disgrace. People think homosexuals are destroying their society by going against the nature. Therefore, often cases appear into spotlight related to the discrimination with homosexual. However, the hideaway was the place where no such feeling surrounded any of the homosexual. All of the people were enjoying with their friends. Their identity was their pride at that place. It was king of gay privilege over there however all people present in the event were not homosexuals like me.

It was the great experience in the hideaway with lots of homosexuals. Initially I was confused with the surrounding it was kind of an odd side. However, after spending time, I felt good as people over there were so amazing, friendly and welcoming. The musical event was also superb, I enjoyed each and every moment and the odd feeling was no more. The drinks and food were also delicious. I am glad to attend the event with my gay friend, the decision was wise as it helped me to see the other side of world that is through the eyes of homosexuals. It was a great time and I would definitely like to visit it again whenever I will get a chance.
