It is formed when cocaine and alcohol coexist in the liver. This increases the effect of cocaine that will, in turn, increase the dependency of an individual for alcohol and cocaine use. As mentioned in the post, I also agree that many people try to use cocaine to quit alcohol use, yet the metabolic reactions are so strong that they become more addicted.

Also, alcohol withdrawal is considered to be the most intense withdrawal so using cocaine with alcohol will make it more difficult.
