A testable hypothesis is as follows:
People take domestic violence negatively; despite considering the age, sex, gender, and financial and social status.
Domestic violence is influenced and impacted by one's gender, caste, financial background, age, and race.
Awareness and domestic violence have a negative relationship, i.e., awareness educates the people and lowers the rate of domestic violence.
Question Number 3
The constructs which are going to be investigated in this research include physical and mental effects on people going through the negative environment and the negative environment itself, i.e., homicides substance abuse, etc.
Question Number 4
(a) The foremost test used will be the Interview for Retrospective Assessment of the Onset and Course of Schizophrenia and Other Psychoses by Janet Smith and Allen Hess. The other test used will be the personal experience inventory for adults by Claudia Wright and Mark Shriver. The last test used will be Inventory of Drug-Taking Situations by Tony Cellucci and Glenn Gelman (Carlson, Geisinger & Jonson, 2017).
(b) The three tests will be administered by using questionnaires or inventories and interviews regarding these assessments and a target population of adult and married or man and women in relationships will be asked to fill in the form after taking their consent. The test will provide information regarding the demographics of each individual, their gender, race, caste, financial background, age, and race on the attitudes towards abuse and violence at the domestic level.
( c ) The psychometric property of each test is as follows:
Interview for Retrospective Assessment of the Onset and Course of Schizophrenia and Other Psychoses (IRAOS). The reliability coefficient is 0.8 and construct validity of the test is measurable.
Personal Experience Inventory for Adults: reliability is 0.8 and it is a valid text.
Inventory of Drug-Taking Situations and its reliability coefficient is 0.7.
(d) These tests will be useful for the paper because it will be generating a deep understanding of the views and beliefs of society about domestic violence, it will enable us to be aware the general people about this burning issue and can better educate people by making different resources for the individuals being victimized. These tests will also identify the influence of one's gender, caste, financial background, age, and race on the attitudes towards abuse and violence at the domestic level.
