Thus, for the development of this skill, nurses are required to include leadership in their daily activities, by the following ways.
Understanding the diversity
Based on this specific field, nurses are required to confront the diverse group of people including patients, doctors, team members, and the administration. Hence, to include leadership in their daily routines, nurses should understand, respect and value diversity.
Resolving Conflicts
In the way of practicing leadership, nurses must also develop and practice the sense of conflict resolution (McSherry & Pearce, 2016). As the conflicts can be related with the profession and personal life, nurses must exercise resolving these conflicts.
Communication skills
Considering the daily life engagement and dealing with the administration of hospital along with the public, communication skill becomes very important to include leadership in their practice

Nurses can also include leadership in their routines by practicing their clinical skills with excellence.
Delegating the tasks
This ability of delegation for the nurses means to ask and delegate the tasks to other fellows who can do it better (Porter-O'Grady & Malloch, 2015). As it becomes very difficult to acquire a lot of skills, hence nurses might not be able to perform some specific tasks but they can ask for the help and delegate the fellows.
Creating a safe environment
This is also an important skill of the leader to provide the space which is safe for the people, to share their information. Hence, the leadership of nurses also includes this skill when the patients or colleagues are sharing some information.
Targeting tasks
Considering the important aspect of leadership, nurses must also include to prioritize and work hard for their targeted tasks every day.
Focused
In the way of including leadership in their practice, nurses should be focused on the excellence related to every aspect of their routine including personal, professional and teamwork.
Volunteering
In the way of leadership, taking responsibility and volunteering is considered as one of the most critical aspects. Therefore, nurses must volunteer for the tasks that they can do.
Responding in crisis
In the field of health care, there might come circumstances which includes crisis. However, leadership is best to be practiced in the crisis by taking risks. So, the nurses can also include responding to the crisis.
