Poem
Why dwell in incertitude?
Stay in trouble or get confused?
Do you know what world has now?
All around its longitude and latitude?
Since the flower of internet has bloomed,
Fragrance of its signals has intertwined
In the life of every being
It removed the threat of error’s sin
Vanished the curse of being an ignorant
Spread the nectar of enlightenment,
Is that it and nothing else?
Let me tell you how it mold
Life of youngster, men and women
Mine’s and every single one
Even though who are all grey and old
All can find what they seek
Now wisdom and skills
Are in everyone’s reach
Is becoming and transforming
Into a burning star of knowledge
Perhaps the only goal?
It isn’t right . . . .
As an internet is a magical hole
Which magnetizes one in
And offers an infinite possibilities
Makes sure that nothing in life gets dim
The brightest one is social media
It has shrunken this massive earth virtually
And turned it into a little virtual village
Where people all around the globe
Meet and communicate smoothly
Distance is a past now
People are just one video call away to meet
Listen to each other, see and greet
One gets drunk by using it
Stay online all day long
But . . . .
Never gets tired of it
The world is on the new horizon
Capsuled by the soul of internet
Where none can stop one from getting information
Not even the god of Poseidon
One is willingly captivated in its charm
Thinking doing that is no harm
But is it so?
You may call it a modern blasphemy
“Extreme” has always been the worst enemy
That’s what one should know
Balance is what this world needs
Its hunger, voracity and greed
That blurs the sight that is, in need.
