Part A
In the concluding paragraph, the author mentioned about her experience. According to her, she has learned a lot while working at McDonald's. Her concluding sentence is supported by the paragraph that is “Susie worked for only three months after our grand opening but I stayed on. I liked having a job because I was learning how to be a responsible person. I was meeting all kinds of people and learning a lot about them. I started making friends with co-workers and getting to know many of the customers on the first-name basis. And I was in charge of my own money for the first time. I didn’t have to go asking mom for money when I wanted something anymore. I could just go and buy it” CITATION Nun03 \l 1033 (Nunez, 2003).
Part B
During the summer break while I was in high school, like many students, I also decided to be productive and find a part-time job. I was lucky enough to secure the position of a receptionist at a local library. As technology has become an indispensable part of our lives, people are more interested in reading books online rather than reading a book in hardcopy. However, I was shocked when I saw lots of people in the library. During this time, I came across many people, some came to the library just to take pictures with the books to post it on Instagram while some used to borrow books to complete their assignments. Many people were interested in reading good literature and were always curious to read new novels, while many were in search of poetry and art-related books. However, the toughest part of the job was to manage people who used to take a picture and did not take care of the books. For them, a book was just a few pieces of paper that are joined together. I tried my level best to make them realize the worth of books but they seemed to ignore me every time. This experience facilitates me a lot in developing my interest in reading books and gaining knowledge.
