Introduction

Writing is a skill which requires learning as well as practice just like other skills. It is essential to Learn writing skills as it is an important part of communication. There are different levels of writing skills such as beginner, Intermediate and expert. I am a non-native English speaker and have opted ESL. As a non-native English speaker I consider my self as an intermediate writer. There a lot of challenges which writers face in learning writing and they have to work hard to reach level of expert in writing. As an intermediate writer, I am still in the learning process and have faced a lot of challenges to reach intermediate level.

Discussion

Intermediate writers underestimate the years of hard work which professional writers go through to achieve an expert level of writing. When I started writing, it was difficult for me to write a single passage without spelling errors, grammatical errors and punctuation errors. I used to write daily about two to three articles and then proofread those orders to improve my writing skills. Practicing on a regular basis helped a lot as it requires effort as well as patience. After facing a lot of challenges in writing I have reached the intermediate level of writing. At this level, I have seen a massive change in my writing. I found lesser grammatical mistakes, punctuation mistakes, and spelling mistakes in my context. But I need to learn more about writing and become a professional writer.

Conclusion

Writing requires a lot of practice, and as a writer, I need to do more practice to reach the expert level of writing. But it is a skill which doesn't only require practice but also require more effort and more failure. I have to do more practice. And put more effort to reach the expert level of writing.
