Joe is a 15-year old boy who displays a stereotypical image of the modern youth. He belongs to Caucasian ethnicity, and lives in a small town located at the border of Chicago Oak Park. The area is thickly populated and the surroundings exhibit a rich culture. Joe precisely represents the culture he belongs to. He is a struggler, and have the ambition to do something valuable in his life. Like everybody else, he also has problems in life, which become serious at times. However, he is not a loser. He wants to overcome his problems and succeed in life.
Joe is a typical youth character that is ubiquitous in all its implications. He is fashionable and lively. In this age of communications, he has a continuous presence over the Web through his portfolios and online accounts in various social media platforms; that is, he is an e-boy, easily found online, and always updating his profile information and current status as per the activities he is involved in. He wears branded clothes and shoes; his choice is usually Vans, a popular brand among youth, offering affordable products. His hair is curly, and eyes twinkling. To his distinction, he wears a beanie at the back of his head, which gives him a look of a typical young boy with preferences in every aspect of life.
The description of his particular looks will remain incomplete without mentioning his white champion sweatshirt below which he wears a white tee shirt. His choice of ‘white’ speaks of the purity of his soul and righteousness of thoughts. He has a refined personality. His character is neat and clean. He visits Pacsun to find out outfitters of his choice. His lock necklace is very dear to him, and he has never been found without this hallmark of his look. His checkered khakis that he purchases from Vans give him a smart look of a sharp, shrewd boy, and indicate a fast-paced lifestyle (Moon and Kiron). He uses black nail polish, a sign of his particular inclination toward style. He enjoys freedom from tradition and loves to be like a flying bird.
Joe belongs to a large family with many siblings to add to his strength. He was adopted at an early age by his present parents. He understands fully what his life could have been if these good people had not chosen him to be a part of their family. He, therefore, loves his family and never wants to abandon them in life. His mother takes good care of him and loves him more than anyone else does. She is the person closest of all to Joe, as she knows what he needs and what he wants. Joe goes to a school named 'Oak Park River Forest' where he is studying in the first year. This is a high school located in a suburb that is situated to the west of Chicago (GEISERT). Since the burden of study is huge, he cannot miss his class and attends school regularly.
Despite being the youth icon almost in his peers, he has some problems that disturb him to the extent he gets depressed. He wants to succeed with a high pace, but his ability to apply knowledge to critical situations in study hinders his progress. He is a good learner, but finds a deficiency in being creative and impressive. He, however, believes that he will certainly make up his weaknesses and become successful one day. He never loses hope and strives for attaining his goals. His worries are due to his lagging behind his peers in studies for the time being. He suffers from depressive disorders to some degree at the declaration of results, because he cannot secure good grades in class. He does have issues of personality because of his poor performance in some aspects of life, but he is pretty normal in his approach towards life.
