When long-term career goals align with academic interests, they get strengthened profoundly. I have managed to align my academic interest with the long-term goals by choosing subjects that have the potential to yield practical and significant benefits. For instance, the indulgence in critically studying non-profit leadership has enhanced the managerial skills in me. The political sign has further supplemented it by making me acquainted with the essential values, theories and paradigms of the political and social structure of the society. I shall highlight the positive manifestations and implications of my academic career as it has benefited me practically. I successfully established a non-profit organization namely Youth of Liberia, Inc. It would not have been possible if I was not privileged and honored with the opportunity to work and collaborate with a couple of non-profit organizations. Such productive have been the ramifications of my academic career in pursuing and accomplishing my long-term career goals. The non-profit organization I have established is in the beginning phase and the thorough commitment, unwavering perseverance and collective support are likely to alleviate the impediments of the Liberian youth. The primary purpose served by the call action oriented Youth of Liberia, Inc. is inspiring and empowering the youth of Liberia through seasoned mentorship and productive education programs. In addition, the skilled training dispensed by the professional rejuvenated the spirits and goals of the organization to serve the youth potentially. Since my long-term career goals and aspiration are collaborating in the non-profit sector, I will harness the necessary experience and evident productivity through the Youth of Liberia, Inc. which perfectly aligns with my career goals ADDIN ZOTERO_ITEM CSL_CITATION {"citationID":"2uiLtMxp","properties":{"formattedCitation":"({\\i{}MyMnCareers | CAREERwise Education})","plainCitation":"(MyMnCareers | CAREERwise Education)","noteIndex":0},"citationItems":[{"id":94,"uris":["http://zotero.org/users/local/yvjivw9i/items/MZ3FKEGM"],"uri":["http://zotero.org/users/local/yvjivw9i/items/MZ3FKEGM"],"itemData":{"id":94,"type":"webpage","title":"MyMnCareers | CAREERwise Education","URL":"https://careerwise.minnstate.edu/mymncareers/index.html","accessed":{"date-parts":[["2019",4,27]]}}}],"schema":"https://github.com/citation-style-language/schema/raw/master/csl-citation.json"} (MyMnCareers | CAREERwise Education).

My utmost desire is being a member of the Congress to contribute toward the welfare of society and eradicate the social evils and structural flaws in the fundamental policymaking. If I were a Congressman, I would have addressed the contentious matter which refers to the prisoners not being sanctioned the rights to vote after serving their time. Irrefutably, the prisons in the United States of America (USA) are replete with the prisoners who are convicted despite being innocent. The structural flaw in the criminal justice system is a contentious matter and should be debated to remove the flaws. However, I will strive to introduce a bill in Congress. The bill will advance to permit the prisoners throughout the United States to vote once they have served their time. A critical appraisal of the matter reveals the issue is not only relevant to the criminal justice system but also to the essential moral and ethical values. Prohibiting the prisoners to vote after serving their time is a blatant desecration of the fundamental human rights. Moreover, the presence of wrongfully convicted prisoners makes it imperative to introduce an essential bill to reform the structure and grant them their fundamental rights. The United States is a nation which advances to accomplish the American dream for every resident. Prisoners, especially the innocent ones, are a member of American society and ought not to be treated with discrimination once they serve their time. It is the need of the hour to restructure and rejuvenate the structural flaw in the criminal justice and political system and thus will be my foremost priority to address it. Voting is the right cherished by each American citizens as they are entitled to choose the stakeholders who can meet their needs and alleviate predicaments. The bottom line is I shall restructure the flawed policy of not granting the right to vote to those prisoners who have served their time.
