Research Essay: Venus de Milo

Computer Science has always fascinated me from the start. Maybe, it was due to the environment around me. My Parents already operated an internet-based business during my school days. They had a lot on their plates, with raising two kids, paying the bills and working at least 17 hours a day. Seeing this, I decided to shoulder some of their burden by training gaming players and selling gamer accounts to both domestic and international gamers. The demand for my accounts peaked to such an extent that I had to make a team with my friends and my Computer Science professor to create an "Auto-Clicker" program, which can simulate mouse clicks to command characters automatically for games such as the Super Cell's Clash of Clans. It was right there when I decided to dive deeper into the world of Computer Sciences as I realize how lucrative and massive the art of technology is.

Since 2012, I saw that the competition in the CS departments is too tough. Only one of my class-fellows got admission to the Local UCs in the Computer Science Department. Seeing that, I used my talents of socializing a started to build a study group comprised of advanced programmers to encourage a study engrossment. The main aim of this informal group was to hone our programming skills by challenging the transfer data and preparing ourselves for college studies as well as acquiring skills for our practical lives. We have worked on learning LeetCode for working in AI-based projects like Smart Mirrors, and home utilities by using Google Alexa and Raspberry Pi. With the help of my study group, I have amassed the skills required to solve most of the problems regarding LeetCode as well as problems related to Python, C++, and Java, which makes me eligible for an internship after transferring.

I understand that rejection is a part of the ups and downs in life, but it builds strength in character. My group has been rejected multiple times in applications about different projects. Some of the Big Tech companies like LinkedIn (Microsoft) are interested in my work, but only if I have a bigger name behind my back like yours. Two years from now, I see myself capable enough to be a part of your university. I already visualize myself giving the commencement speech.
