Prodromal Cycle
Fink uses the word prodrome in order to describe predictors. The root meaning of this term is things that would come before. It is also described as one of the four parts of a cycle. In this cycle eruption comes after the prodromal cycle, it then follows the resolution or the closure period in which the issue is resolved. This particular cycle is in a continuous moment whenever there is some risk to the state; then this cycle helps to predict the event efficiently by keeping in mind all the responsible factors. Within this cycle, various prevention and avoidance measures can be taken effectively by keeping in mind the global experience and then integrating it into the cycle. According to this cycle whenever some catastrophic event occurs then before the event or the incident becomes chronic effective measures are taken in order to resolve the issue. The steps taken to resolve the issue depends on the global experience and their perception about the event ADDIN ZOTERO_ITEM CSL_CITATION {"citationID":"nnQPstEX","properties":{"formattedCitation":"(McElreath, Doss, Nations, Slyke, & Jr, 2017)","plainCitation":"(McElreath, Doss, Nations, Slyke, & Jr, 2017)","noteIndex":0},"citationItems":[{"id":1110,"uris":["http://zotero.org/users/local/4C6u8dIT/items/IIGEA5MW"],"uri":["http://zotero.org/users/local/4C6u8dIT/items/IIGEA5MW"],"itemData":{"id":1110,"type":"book","title":"Introduction to Homeland Security","publisher":"CRC Press","number-of-pages":"396","source":"Google Books","abstract":"Since the attacks of 9/11, billions of dollars and countless resources have been committed and expended in the attempt to make the nation more secure. According to this cycle uncertain events do occur even after taken all the important measures, but once they do occur then, they should be resolved before they will be chronic.
