Civil Rights in America
Opening: American history has been marked by constant and purposeful efforts to expand the dimensions of civil rights. Although American born citizens claim for equal rights, many of the new inhabitants were denied of these equal civil rights. To discuss further this issue, we have a very distinguished guest with us in our show today who has participated in many civil rights movements and was one of the prominent activists during the 1960s civil rights movement. Can we all just appreciate his efforts and give a big round of applause.
Interviewer 1) Hello Mr Patric! It’s so great to have you on my show again. So Patric, how are feeling after such a successful event? You have not been living in America since the Movement right?2) What differences do you see in the society after the law for civil rights got approved by the government?
3) Are you happy about the way people are responding to this movement and do you think this would lead to a discrimination-free country?4) How do you look at the government perspective of this civil rights movement? Would it be able to ensure the provision of civil rights to the minorities?5) You worked so hard for this movement but after its success, why did you leave America and went back to Africa?6) Your son is now going to be the next civil rights activist and as a black American, how do you feel about that?7) What will be your next goal? I mean after achieving such a milestone, what would be the next step?8) I am so glad you spared time for us and hope you continue doing amazing projects for the country. Thank you so much!
