Perspectives on Jesus

Introduction

Jesus Christ has always been an interesting personality due to the fact that how different people have perceived him on the work of theology, one of the key thing that stands out about him is that how has made sure that he has commanded global admiration and respect from different theological writers and how people still analyze his personality and traits to date. One interesting perspective about Jesus came from Paul. The way this whole movement worked out is something that is still shrouded in mystery. There are people who tend to think that whether the movement was shaped by the teaching and the activities of Paul and whether there was something new that was started by him in the perspective of the Jesus. There are many books that are written in this regard. And one of the works that we are going to be discussing during the course of this paper is going to be “Perspectives of Jesus in the Writings of Paul: A Historical Examination of Shared Core Commitments with a View to Determining the Extent of Paul's Dependence on Jesus”.

Discussion

One of the key things that is needed to be talked about when one looks at the perspective of the Jesus is that how he has started something new and he brought about new perspective as far as the way God is supposed to be perceived. The role of Paul becomes all the more important in this regard as the argument can be made whether the whole thing was orchestrated by him in the start of the long history or whether it was something that was determined a long time ago. There are many books that are have discussed this whole thing. The purpose of the book “Perspectives of Jesus in the Writings of Paul: A Historical Examination of Shared Core Commitments with a View to Determining the Extent of Paul's Dependence on Jesus” is to make sure that the question is raised in the light of the more recent scholarly work. It becomes all the more important in the so-called New Perspective that has brought about new changes in the fields of the Christianity and how it tends to work out. One of the key strategies that is being employed here is to make sure that the underlying description on these ideas have to be kept in mind on terms of how Paul’s. During the course of the book, one thing that tends to stand out the most is that how three aspects of the Ministry of Jesus are being talked about the most. The first one is that how welcoming attitude has to be depicted towards people who are marginalized. The other is that how the manifestation of the challenge is needed to be showed among the people that how Christians must develop the belief that they are going to be sharing their fate with Jesus. The belief that seems to have been instilled by God is that how something that is being done here that is quite profoundly new and thus it is presented as the source of the corresponding thoughts of Paul at the particular point of time. Relationship and Perspective of Jesus as compared to other Religious Figures

One of the things that has to be kept in mind here is that how the relationship of Jesus tends to take shape here as compared to some of the other religious figures at the particular point of time. There has been considerable discussion in this regard in different theological sources. The important thing is that how there is going to be an important factor in terms of how the broader discussion and themes are supposed to be made at the particular point of time. The New Testament is an important aspect in terms of how the overall thing that is needed to be developed at the particular point of time. Now, there has been many instances where it has been noticed that people have brought down the teachings and the manifestation of Paul. One of the reasons for this apparent lack of regard is that there is not much discussion about Kingdom by Paul. Relation of Jesus with Paul

To further the discussion here, it is important to note this that how the new and creative approach is needed to be adopted at the different instances and how the overall ideology and thought process of the people tend to work out at the given point of time. One of the reasons that the understanding of the relationship between Paul and Jesus is so much interesting is due to the fact that how it brings into fore the different theological elements and the book seems to have done a good job when it comes to capturing some of the underlying themes that goes on into this wider subject. The lines of continuity between Jesus and Paul are showed here in the book and it is one of the most compelling reasons for the understanding this theological perspective. So, all these things go a long way towards making sure that the compelling argument can be made that both of these ideologies are pretty much providing an insight about the perspective of the Jesus and the sort of value that they add towards the life of the person. The other thing that is quite important in the given instance is that how one must be objective in terms of the relevance of the Paul and how it relates to the ideologies that are talked about by Paul and what are some of the common grounds that one gets to see among both of these entities. The Apostle Paul is, next to Jesus, clearly the most intriguing figure of the 1st century of Christianity, and far better known than Jesus because he wrote all of those letters that we have [as] primary sources.... There are many astonishing things about him. For example, in modern scholarship, we have tended to divide various categories. There are gentiles, and there are Jews. There are Greek speaking people and there are Hebrew speaking people. There's Palestinian Judaism, which includes apocalypticism. There's Rabbinic Judaism and there's Hellenistic Judaism, which has derived deeply from the Greek world. Paul seems to fall into several of these categories, therefore confounding our modern divisions. So he's an intriguing and puzzling character in some respects.

Perspectives of the Jesus in the Writing of the Paul

One does not need to go quite far away, and they should read and study some of the narration that is provided by Paul. When one goes through these insights, they are developing an insight about how the ideological perspective of the Jesus works. What is being done by Paul here is that there is an absurdity that the approach that is going to be taken by Paul would be progressive. The idea is to come up with the innovative and modern approach in terms of how the inculcation of the Christian ideologies are witnessed in the thought process and perspective of Jesus at the given point of time. Effort has to be made to make sure that one gets to read and interpret the message of Jesus in consolidation of the thought process that is propagated by Paul in his work. Conclusion

The line of continuity that is witnessed in the work of Jesus and how it tends to relate with the Work that is being carried out by Jesus is one of the major things that are discussed during the course of the book. The idea that is being talked about here is that how the New Testament scholarship goes a long way towards making sure that the development of this relationship is being carried out in the appropriate manner. Going through the book, one develops a realization about how thought process of Jesus is supposed to work.
