World Health Organization states ICF as the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health as a classification of health and its related domains. This includes several environmental factors because the health and disability of an individual rely on multiple lists of contexts. ICF is very important, in 2001, this became the national framework for health measures as it can measure health and disabilities both individual and population level. It is operationalised at a bigger scale through the Disability Assessment Schedule for the health status assessment (Anon., 2019).

Mario Russo, a 35-year-old, a month ago, started playing squash with the group of mothers which were from school. She used to play Squash in her 20s and found a way to socialise again with other mothers from the school. Although much excited as she was, she fell sustained a Grade 2 ankle sprain. There domains of the ICF model which deal are body function and structures domain, activities and participation domain. Following are the dot points under the WHO-ICF area.

According to the World Health Organization, Health is a state of completeness of the social, physical and mental well-being. Without any contextual reference to the religion, race or the political beliefs, attaining the highest standard of health is the right of every human being. There are two kinds of the model which act as disability among the people. The medical model will not have sufficient act of energy in the people anymore, because changing the attitudes of the people might change their reaction towards disabilities. This is the Social model, which leaves the medical model in the Doctors room. The medical model is the belief, ignited during the 18th Century is that Science can cure all illness and diseases. Its undoubtedly a good impact that a condition is present or not. But an overdependence of the medical science for ones health can be ignorant to other influences.

The social model of disability emerged the Social Model of Health and was provoking in a reaction to the traditional medical model. Other than medical, the social model of health focuses on the cultural, political, economic and social factors which contribute to ones health. Poor housing can have a wrong impression regarding low-self esteem and a negative impact on health as well. (CDHN, 2019)
