Racism in Landscapes

Introduction

Cities and the societies are complex structures where there are many issues that are faced by the people. There are some issues that are common for all the people such as the poverty, and infrastructure as the city is expanding (Cohen and Northridge, 2018). On the other hand, there are issues that are related to the racism and urban politics that are quite diverse when it comes to the way they are supposed to be implemented at the given point of time (Pinxten and Preckler, 2016). Racism is something that is witnessed at all the levels in the United States and around the world at the urban and rural levels. In the given paper, some of the repercussions of this issue along with the salient features are discussed (Cohen and Northridge, 2018).

Discussion

With the people of the diverse background comprising the United States population and the host of other issues faced by the people, the fact remains that how at the larger level, these issues are needed to be resolved (Cohen and Northridge, 2018). Now there are many issues that are needed to be discussed during the whole aspect (Cohen and Northridge, 2018). When the problem of the racism is raised, there are two ways through which this issue can be resolved (Cohen and Northridge, 2018). The first method is to make sure that the effort is being made towards ensuring that the law and order situation has to be controlled. What it means is that the consolidated effort is needed to be brought in with regards to making sure that how these efforts are going to be merged at the given point of time (Cohen and Northridge, 2018). The other major aspect is to ensure that how the societal changes are going to be obtained. Racism is one of the things that takes time to resolve (Pinxten and Preckler, 2016). The major reason is that in some cultures that it becomes the part of the daily lifestyle (Cohen and Northridge, 2018). People are so ingrained and indulge at the racism at so many levels these days is that it is imperative to ensure that the awareness level of the people needs to be increased (Pinxten and Preckler, 2016). Effort must be made that the people tend to understand the plight and the issues of the people who do not belong to the same community and in this regard, the better societal structure is needed to be placed (Pinxten and Preckler, 2016).

Conclusion

Racism is something that is being faced in all the landscapes around the world. Even though it is quite an old issue, there is lot of work that is needed to be done with regards to making sure that how the level of control is needed to be achieved in this regard. First there must be strict control and any activity regarding racism has to be brought down, and then there has to be an effort to ensure that the structural changes are brought into the society (Cohen and Northridge, 2018).
