The international strategy that I will choose as a CEO includes transnational approach. This strategy will be effective in selling clothes across the world. The product will be promoted in the same way across all regions. This will allow the company to expand its global footprint by selling products in the same manner. This is an effective strategy that allows the product to grow rapidly in different countries and regions. The reasons for adopting this strategy are to enter a new culture and build a new customer base. The transnational strategy is a practical tool for shaping customers preferences according to the native culture. as the company is operating in the United States it will conduct research in Mexican and other markets for assessing consumer behaviour. It also focuses on adopting the culture and values of different regions.

If I have entered a joint venture where women are not treated fairly I will send female expatriate for handling the new start-up. This is because I will need to promote an environment where men and women are treated fairly. Choosing a female expatriate could be favorable for the company because they are encouraged to prove their competency by attaining organizational efficiency. Females exhibit a higher probability of adjustments, commitment and job satisfaction CITATION Mar185 \l 1033 (MariaBastida). In challenging situations female expatriates adopt self-initiated roles that act in the favor of organizations. Their commitment and dedication provide increased scope for business growth and success. The strategy will also be adopted for eliminating the gender gap and promoting talent. However, there will be a need for building awareness among employees.

My level of personal interest in becoming an entrepreneur is 8. I have selected the rank 8 because I am determined to start my own business. This is because I possess good knowledge of business startups and the factors that affect the chances of its survival. As I am planning to start my business in clothes apparent I have gathered all the information related to the market and customers. I know my business well because I have worked in a cloth apparel company for five years. I know the tactics that a CEO needs for running a business successfully. My experience in marketing and customers will allow me to devise an effective strategy for targeting clients. I know the strategies for surviving in a competitive environment.

A clothing company recently opened in my area that is selling shirts and jeans to the adults and the older population. There are numerous companies already selling clothing in the region. It will be difficult for a new company to capture customers. The owner of the company will need to adopt effective selling strategies such as understanding the potential customers and targeting the right clients. An appropriate approach involves conducting market research. The company will need to adopt e-selling strategies such as by offering products on the website. This will be useful for maximizing customer base. Online selling will provide convenience shopping experience because customers will not need to travel. The owners must decide price strategically by considering the prices of the competitors. This will allow the owner to secure revenue. The price must not be very low or high. Effective marketing through social media and advertisement could be used for capturing customers. This will encourage shoppers to visit the new outlets in the region.

The position of CEO offers many advantages such as leadership, decision-making, status, power and knowledge. CEO can take the role of leader because he established the company. he can take decisions regarding the financial, management and strategic aspects. As a leader, he provided direction and set rules for the managers and employees. CEO enjoys the power and corporative title. He can instruct employees and the administration. This allows him to take actions that are in the best interest of the company. he can also decide the strategies that ensure profit maximization. As CEO is the owner of the company he possesses good knowledge of the purpose and the products.
There are also some disadvantages for being a CEO such as financial pressure, challenges for implementing change and decisions for the company's success. CEO has to ensure the provision of adequate funds that affect the survival and growth of the firm. He is also responsible for taking the rights decisions that could result in the company's benefit.
Question 7
The organizational chart explains the structure of the organization in which I worked. CEO was the owner of the company who had the power of implementing decisions. The policies and the rules were designed by him. Production manager was responsible for making decisions regarding production that were passed to the fabrication and assembly officers. The orders from these officers were directed to employees who had to follow instructions. Officers provided guidelines for work. marketing manager was concerned about improving sales and passed decisions to the sales officers. The officers conveyed the strategies of selling and targeting customers to the salesmen.
