Initial post week 2
After doing the Keirsey Temperament Sorter questionnaire I have found that my personality type is ESFJ. When I read more about this personality type , I have found that the characteristics of this personality are loyalty, sociability, tactful, responsible, traditional ,responsive etc.
Under the light of above test results, I believe social, environmental, educational or research-based projects. According to my personality type I am social and this trait will help me to do social kind of projects easily. Sociability and to love life and people are strength of this personality type. As they are tradition and sometimes not ready for new ideas can be weakness for them. Criticism and sensitivity are also other issues related to my personality type.
It is very important to overcome weaknesses for performing my duties as a project manager. I need to show openness to hear from all group members, need to accept criticisms positively, and have to be little less sensitive but it is little bit difficult because it is more in nature than habit.
For me the most important eight traits for project managements are;
Communication
Leadership
Decision making
Organization
influence
team building
trust
negotiation
For me the least important trait can be coaching because it is not as important as others. It is not important that a project manager coaches his team members because he is manager not leader.
According to our text book “the project manager is the person assigned by the performing organization to lead the team that is responsible for achieving the project objectives”( (PMBOK,2013,p.16). The role of a project manager is different from manager in many ways like ; “the manager is focused on delivering management mistake for a functional or a business unit, and operations managers are accountable for confirming that business processes are effective”( (PMBOK,2013, p.16).

Thank you for your detailed post but I am not able to see about personality assessment or rather you avoid talking about it because mostly questions for this week based on that. Otherwise you always give a detailed answer of all the questions.

Thank you for your interesting and informative post. So according to your personality type you are unique because slight amount of people belongs to ENFP. You have talked more about human resource management then answering questions. No doubt , human resource management is very important.
