Melbourne Culture
The state of Melbourne is known for its multifaceted culture that offers a complex and challenging environment for business players. The culture of Melbourne, Australia is going to be discussed which would assist me decisions regarding hiring staff, team building, and subsidiary.
As the culture of Australia is cumulatively a diversified culture because of the humility factor. From the business perspective, the following cultural differences are considered as the most crucial.
Humility: Melbourne fully encourages entrepreneurship but prefer to have humility at the forefront.
Giving it a go culture that takes a strategic risk: individuals of the culture are more close to creativity, innovation, and idea in comparison to the US citizens. Everyone has a high interest in engaging in innovation and need to develop connections which could enhance/improve and offer a more secure life.
Deeply Focused and Conservative: investors believe in creativity and innovation, the business people and corporate are scared about investments and supporting in the concepts that have support issues which are not politically encouraged.
Hence, we can state that political encouragement plays a vital role in defining a business culture.
The detractors’ states that the modern culture of Australia is highly associated with US culture and their own culture is grotesque. While, this reality makes the environment highly flexible, and simple to be accepted by the businesses (Virgin, 2014).
Conclusion
The Melbourne culture is easy to be accepted by the US and the job of aligning the business and hiring strategies with the culture is not a difficult job for business managers and management. The workforce from the culture can be hired conveniently while looking for individuals that are creative and humble. If a business organization trusts in societal causes then they have a strong competitive advantage to explore new markets in the region.
