A person must avoid negative impressions or expression during debates that include seriousness, lack of humor and anger. The choice of diction, language and rhythm are also important tools that could help speaker to convince listeners. The speaker must be able to make use of right words and avoid using complex terms that are difficult to understand. The best debate realize that the focus is on persuading audience so choosing appropriate language is essential. Rhythm can be maintained by managing breathing effectively. The speaker can do this by slowing speed. He must be able to pronounce each word clearly that removes the ambiguity. Diction and structure of speech also helps in building a positive interaction with the audience. Positivity is also an important aspects of a speech. A speaker must be able to speak positively for promoting feelings of trust in the listeners. This is important for generating positive energy and evoking feelings of the audience. These characteristics makes the speaking interesting for the listeners.
