The economy of the country is important for foreigners because it impacts the employment, wages and standards of living. The economy of Dubai is growing consistently that indicates better possibilities of earning for the immigrants. Oil is still the backbone of US economy and to demand will continue to grow in future. The global demand for energy is increasing worldwide that is a prominent factor for investing in renewable projects. UAE Minister of state declared that oil will fulfill half of the energy demand in the future. Relying solely on oil is not appropriate which stresses on the adoption of alternative renewable projects. Investments in petrochemicals and manufacturing industries is also linked with oil demand. Diversification is crucial for attaining economic growth and sustainability. UAE is ranked as number six in the provision of oil and across. This allow the region to derive most of its GDP from oil exports. The continued growth of oil production has allowed the companies to expand their operations. The economic conditions depicts that oil industry will still be offering jobs to the foreigners. The president in UAE has revised the labor laws that focus on providing equal earning opportunities to the males and females. This indicates that foreign females will also get better chances of employment that will contribute to improved standards of living. Promotion of social equality will attract more foreigners to settle in UAE. Stable economy doesn’t pose any threats for the immigrants who are planning to move to Dubai. Dubai is also paying good wages to the immigrants that can be seen as a critical factor of attraction for them.

Health insurance is mandatory for the residents in Dubai, which pose challenges for the people who aspire to apply for residential visa. It is thus essential for the residents to get a good health insurance policy. The insurance policy offers many benefits such as it help individuals in managing financial burdens during emergency situations. Health insurance policies are well developed, focused on assisting even low-wage workers for getting insured. Before choosing the policy it is important for the people to find reliable health insurance companies. The information about different companies is available online that can help people in finding appropriate company. This policy depicts that Dubai is caring for immigrants and helping them in managing cost during emergency situations. This will attract more foreign people from across the world.

Dubai is offering jobs to thousands of foreigners but the recent diploma crisis and the identification of minimum criteria pose the challenges for Indian nurses to lose jobs. The healthcare industry is providing jobs to a larger immigrant Indian population. UAE has revised the minimum requirements for nurses that will risk the jobs of many Indians. In 2019 Gulf News reported 200 nurses losing their jobs due to the criteria of hiring graduates only. These changes have encouraged the nursing students to complete their graduation before applying for the nursing jobs in healthcare industry. The institutes are also facing equivalency issues for evaluating the proficiency and qualifications of the applicants. These changes are essential for providing enhanced and quality care to the residents. Irrespective of these changes in the nursing Dubai is still offering jobs to millions of people. This indicates that in the next few years the immigrants will not face challenges in finding jobs. The recent incidents of smuggling linked with visitor depicts that the country will impose restrictions on immigrants. Smuggling remains one of the significant threats faced by UAE that raised pressures for enhancing security measures. The new got limelight when a man was caught with marijuana in a bag of potatoes chips. He was a visitor and travelling for smuggling drugs. This indicates that the state still needs to enhance measures for controlling smuggling. The visitor accepted that he was carrying marijuana for selling. This incident could impact the credibility of every immigrant because the country could suspect them carrying drugs.

Living in Dubai for a couple of years would not be a challenge because the country is still undergoing economic growth. Stable economic conditions will offer better chances of education, healthcare and employment to the immigrants. The country is still rich which is focusing on expanding its oil industry. This reflects the country will be a safe place for getting employment. The laws of employment are also improving that will work in the favor of immigrants. However, there are also some challenges such as increased security measures due to the current cases of smuggling. Improved economy, employment laws and healthcare makes Dubai an ideal place.
