Young people and mental health

Young Minds 2012 panel: 'Is there a crisis in youth mental health today? explains that the challenges faced by the psychologist who works with youth change as society evolves. Prevention and intervention programs must contain aspects of physical and mental health, and be planned to allow young people to become fruitful citizens of their societies (Crawford, et.al., 2018).

I believe that the caregiver has a fundamental role in the prevention of depression. The relatives or professionals of the day centers or residences that take care of the daily care of the elderly have an important task at the time of detecting the first symptoms or explaining to the doctor the problems that the patient does not express", comments the doctor (Cohen-Scali et.al 2018). Other prevention tasks that can be done by the caregiver are to control the diet, help the elderly in adapting to the changes, respect the individual preferences of the person, encourage them with social relationships, encourage them to exercise or encourage them to maintain contact with their relatives.
