Assignment 2
The era of the colonialism in the European countries was not the same as that of the British Empire. It was the time when the new societies were coming and starting their new colonies. The most evident among these was the arrival of Indian communities into the Spanish and Dutch colonies and started establishing themselves in these colonies as immigrants and later merging with the local natives. On the comparison of all the communities, Spanish colonies were the most civilized tan French and were the people to start the traditions of keeping slaves and their slaves were none other than the Indians. The Spanish priests tried to convert various Indians into the Christianity. Many of the whites also married the people from the Indian community too. Spanish colonies were much broader in all aspects than that of the Dutch and French (Foner, 2013).
The effects of the colonial America are visible till today where the foundation of the American civilization was formed on the basis of the theme of bringing freedom in the thoughts and living styles of the people which can be implemented for a longer period of time and these aspects were the basis of widespread of Christianity in the country that can prevail. These were the fundamental views in freedom today which are relatable with the views at the time if freedom of America.
