My Refection

NURS 5374 Nursing Education Mentored Experience provided me a delightful vision into the world of a nurse teacher. There are no unimportant professions in the world, because every action brings some result. But for me one of the most significant is the craft of the medic. The doctor, the nurse - these are the people who help others. Sometimes it depends on them the lives of others.

What?

Taking all this into account, I want to make the most important choice in my life - the choice of my vocation in this world. One way or another, each of us in a certain period of life decides for himself how he wants to spend his life and what he will do in this life. (Stievano, et.al. 2019).This question becomes at the end of the school. It is at this time that we begin to reflect on the topic of our future profession. I, like everything now, faced a choice: “Who do I want to be?”.

The answer came to me not immediately. Long thinking and citing certain examples for myself, I nevertheless decided that I wanted to be a nurse. A key factor in my choice was the desire to help people. In my opinion, not only the doctor, but also the nurse are an important profession in helping others. Sometimes those people who go to the hospital may lack attention and care. This is what the nurse does, besides main work. In addition, people die every day on the streets of the city, and with some knowledge I could save at least one person. For example, some old man may have a heart attack, and my knowledge in this area will give the opportunity to help him. It is very important for me that my skills and knowledge have direct practical application both at work and in everyday life.

In my opinion, the profession of the nurse is very significant and useful. Its significance lies both for the common good and for family well-being. I want to say that such a profession is useful for my family, since I will always know how to help my relatives in various diseases. It is very important to be able to choose the right treatment in the early stages of the disease, and my experience will help to do just that (Chin, et.al. 2019). In addition, I possess all the key qualities that are important for a medical professional. After all, the nurse should be empathetic, attentive, kind and courteous. But, in addition to this, it must be morally stable, because not always all diseases are curable, and where there is birth, death also happens. If I manage to become a nurse, I would like to be a respected employee. With such a profession, I will always be confident that I live for a reason, and I do the maximum of useful things for our society.

Happiness is not always to do what you want, but to always want what you do.” In the life of each person once comes the crucial moment - the choice of profession. But, as a rule, people have to choose in adolescence, often without thought, and this leads to further disappointment.

I learned about the QSEN Competencies in nursing which is a practice of the nursing profession therefore involves the analysis, organization, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. Preventive, curative and palliative care integrate technical quality and quality of relations with the patient. Their object is respect for human rights, in the interest of their education in health and taking into account the personality of the latter in these physiological, psychological, economic, social and cultural components.
