Subject Response to your Article Encouraging the use of Contraceptives among the Young People

Respected Sir/Madam

I am Michael jack Daniel a resident of the Palmetto Bay in Miami. I am writing this letter in response to your article on the 15th of September 2019 that was encouraging the use of contraceptives among the young people. I am good fun of the articles you produce but this one caught much of my attention.

In response to the article, I would politely wish to differ on about 60 of the content in the article. To begin with, by encouraging the use of contraceptives in modern society, we are encouraging even young people to engage in coitus without protection. What would be the side effect of this, there will be an increase in the spread of the HIV/AIDS virus. Similarly, they would be an increase in the number of patients who may have contracted sexually transmitted diseases. What society would owe have brought up with this kind of disease is it I agree with your article that by the use of contraceptives we are reducing the number of unwanted pregnancies in the society and therefore unnecessary abortions among the young women. This is a good step to take, though we cannot solve one problem by encouraging the spread of a worse problem. This is because by simply encouraging the use of contraceptives we are removing the fear of pregnancy and therefore encouraging the spread of HIV/AIDs virus and other infections that are caused by engaging in unprotected coitus.

Lastly in my own opinion and research has also shown that the long term effect of the use of contraceptive is usually worse. This is because in many instances for those who use this drugs end up being infertile for the rest of their lives. The use of these drugs also causes an increase in body weights and other diseases in the body.

In conclusion, this situation is really serious and may affect the number of young people who are the future of the world. I would kindly ask you to write another article in your newspaper that encourages the minimal use of contraceptives besides the use of protection during coitus. In this, you would have killed two birds with one stone. This would also be a good form of sensitization to the young generation.
