The National Quality Improvement Goals of a private hospital called city hospital in Kennesaw- Georgia.
The National quality improvement measure is to improve the quality of health care by taking person-centered health care initiatives.
The aim of the National Quality improvement strategy of the hospital is to address the environmental as well as a social determinant of health. The second aim of this strategy is to make the health care safer by reducing harm and the hospital has set a goal to decrease medication error, poor coordination, and communication between the hospital management and the patients (Services, 2011).
The hospital can improve their performance to meet the goal set for its quality improvement. The hospital can adopt community- based Transitions Program (cbtp). It provides Medicare beneficiary by supporting partnership for patients that will decrease the cost of Medicare and will give them free services. The hospital can provide quality health to the general public by focusing on the treatment of illness that are the major cause of mortality in that region. The hospital can work closely with the community to identify their needs and will use the best practices for marinating quality health (Services, 2011).
The National Quality Improvement Goals of a public hospital
The measures of the national quality improvement goals of a public hospital are to increase the health services for the majority of the public and to improve the conditions of its faculties (Ettorchi-Tardy, Levif, & Michel, 2012).
The goal can be met if the hospital focus to deliver health care through specialized personnel and by using modern medical equipment. The hospital should not just focus on the treatment of huge bulk of patient in a day but try to apply for patient-centric health programs on each of them. The goals can also be achieved if the hospital adopts the healthcare strategies of private health centers and if it adopted modern means of health care.
The general hospital should improve the quality of the services being provided to the public and increased its focus on eliminating fatal diseases from the public.
