Thesis statement: This persuasive speech is intended on focusing mainly on the equal rights of women in comparison to men in our chauvinist society.
Women have the right to acquire a similar status as men have in society.
Women have played a crucial role in shaping world history.
The first systematically organized effort by women was made in the early 20th century by forming United Daughters of Confederacy.
Changing role of women during World War II, i.e., they were among the nurses in the war zone.
Famous historian women include Kathleen McArthur, Isabel Jordan, Charmaine Foley, and councilor Jill Jordan, Audience Blyth, Esma Armstrong, Erica Riis, Berenis Alcorn, Jill Chamberlain and Elaine Green (Naff, np).
Gained the right to vote in 1907.
Women are not men’s property or ornament to be kept in for show off.
Men are not entitled to the body and minds of women.
Women have separate existence to men.
Women bodies are not commodities and their sexuality is not to copulate to.

Women have always been a significant part of the workforce.
They have equal right to work in industries and sectors which were meant to be for men.
Conclusion:
Women should have the equal privilege to the rights and standards of the society, regardless of their gender, status or race.
Women are not entitled to anybody but themselves.
They are the sole representative of their own emotional and physical existence.
No men have right over the needs and want of a woman.
