Does humane society really help animals?
Humane society is helping animals by providing them shelter, care, food and aid. There are animal shelters operating to provide medical care and support to the animals. There are many animal centers which are offering mediations and vaccines to the animals and working for there welfare. Some of the services offered to the pets include racing, complete medical checkups, rescue and foster services. All these services have made animals better off in the current society CITATION TED17 \l 1033 (TED). One of the challenge faced by the community is to offer shelter to the wandering animals like dogs and cats. Lack of shelters and healthcare could threaten the lives of animals. Increase in the number of animal welfare institutes have improved the level of service offered to the wandering animals.
The humane services are actually helping the animals by enhancing their quality of life and health. The owners of pets are instructed to buy special foods for dogs and others animals CITATION Voo19 \l 1033 (Turner, Berry and MacDonald). There are veterinary care which are operating to support the owners who lack financial capacity. Emergency care departments are also developed which respond to the incidents on time. Provision of first aid and services to the injured animals also reflects the positive role of the humane society. Centers are also facilitating adoption of pets like dogs and animals. Although the welfare centers for animals such as wildlife is working to save the lives of animals and arrange foster care but there is still need for reaching wider wandering animals seeking help. Provision of shelters is the most practical solution for recusing wandering animals and providing them safe places. Animal shelter management must use all resources for maximizing animal care and welfare.
