Response Essay
The essay is written all about the influence of social media and the effects of studies on the students who are using it regularly. All these effects are directly linked with each other as the majority. The writer’s thesis is all about the impact on the life of students, and their studies are getting badly affected by social media and its excessive usage. This usage cannot be controlled easily.
The gap in the knowledge of people is due to their lack of interest in the studies as well as their interest level is deteriorating due to the excessive amount of the social media applications that are being utilized everywhere but the people are failed to give the exact amount of attention to their work and social life, and there is a biased usually seen in all these aspects. The other reason for that is the lack of interest in book reading by adults as well.
The other factor which is under discussion is the distinguishing of the ideas. These ideas of limiting the use and giving more opportunities while working through online services or defining an age limit for the usage is distinguishing the own sense of working (Green, Stuart & Lidinsky, N.P, 2011).
I do not wholly agree with the writer's argument on defining the age limit, but it should be done in such a way that ban should be imposed on the students and children who are underage or during the period of assessments so that they can give time to their studies as well. The best way of working can be this where the life should be balanced and prioritized equally so that people should not get overburdened and they can give equal and adequate attention to all tasks, and nothing should get compromised. Social life and education are equally important, and they should go side by side.
