Education
Education does not meant to read and write but it is the process to learn and utilize that learning for having several advantages because of that. As well as it is the process to gain knowledge and use it for attaining growth in both personal and professional life.
Education can be specifically defined as the process of studying different types of materials such as books to gain understanding and knowledge and then trying to use it in routine life. Furthermore, education is not only about gaining bookish and theoretical materials but it involves learning practical things or learning practically. In short, education is about getting knowledge and thoughtfulness about things and comparing them in life (Noddings, N.P).
Importance of Education in Life
It is a fact that education plays a huge role in the life of every individual and no one can deny its importance. In terms of honor, value, happiness in life and society of living, one can get honored, valued by others and can live a happier life in comparison with someone uneducated. Education has a huge contribution in living a happier and comfortable life because it helps to gain knowledge, learn things, and get a job that makes people successful and stable in life (Noddings, N.P). Beyond that, education is the process that enables everyone from any background and of any gender to gain knowledge so that one can stand out as equal with others from different backgrounds through beating even every barrier.
Benefits of Educations
As discussed above, the value and importance of education cannot be denied in life while it should be valued by everyone because it is an important part of life activities. Hence, education provides one with several advantages which cannot be enjoyed by one having no education or uneducated. Those advantages are but not the following.
Setting Standards of Life
Education is the sources makes people able to set standards of life. It assists to have a clear understanding of wrong deeds and decisions made and in life as well as their inverse impact on the success and overall life. Hence, education helps in finding alternative solutions and ways for the elimination of such deeds and decisions (Kauffman, et al, N.P).
Life Independence
Everyone wants to be fully independent in life. In another way, everyone prefers to be not dependent on others in life. So, education is the source available even to everyone on the earth to gain freedom and enjoy an independent life (Noddings, N.P). It does so because it makes everyone able to have financial problems solved and be protected financially while we mostly become dependent on life due to financial problems and the availability of required financial resources.
Improve Life and Building Society
In the current time, most of the societies are caused by dangers due to the uneducated people. The example can be terrorists. While on the other side, every society and community work to be safe and protected from dangers. Here, education also plays a vital role. Education does so by the execution of laws and regulations that saves societies and people (Kauffman, et al, N.P). While those laws and regulations also force people to be away from any misbehavior. As well as education helps to know and understand roles and responsibilities in building a sustained society.
Nation’s Development
Every country and nation wants to be highly developed, successful and valued in the world than others. But, it would not be wrong if we say that such dreams cannot come true without proper education and educational system (Noddings, N.P). At last, it can be stated that education builds and developing nations because; 1) it makes people be better citizens, 2) assist to differentiate good and bad, 3) enables people to grow and get developed, 4) enables betterment in nations, and 5) increase open-mindedness & community engagement.
