Need-based scholarship at XX University

I am a student at XX University and this year was my first semester. I was transferred from the community college last year. My major is Business Administration and Management. I am currently working part-time jobs and I am enrolled in a single class daily. I wish to be a full-time student as I feel that my experience can take me as far as I have already come. I feel like I am being overtaken by better qualifies people due to their knowledge and extensive familiarity with the use of modern tools that are more in synchronization with the current business practices. That was the main reason that I join this university as this university has the best faculty in the region as well as an extensive network of Alumni that is very helpful as the graduate of this university step into the job market. This is why I am willing to invest my time in this university as I believe that this university is my best chance at improvement if I am to compete in the market.

However, several problems are standing in my way to continue on this endeavor. I barely earned enough money to pay for my bills and personal expenses. My parents have supported me as best as they would in the past. But now they have retired as well. I cannot effort to study full-time at the university due to these financial problems. I wish to remain a part of this prestigious educational institution. Therefore, I would like to request the university administration to help me in these troubled times by granting me a need-based scholarship so that I would be able to continue my studies. The extensive knowledge that this institution provides can prove pivotal in my path to make a better future for myself and my entire family.
