These issues are most important and need to be solved in the most urgent basis.

The two most important issue currently prevailing in the world are

Climate Change

Inequality (Inequality in pay, opportunities or discrimination)

I feel very strongly about these two issues because they are damaging or bringing harm to a large number of people. These issues need to be addressed urgently as they are not limited to a single individual or limited number of people but affecting large number of people, in fact in the case of Climate Change, the whole world is being affected.

Climate Change

Climate change is not only a global issue but also a political issue as well. Multiple steps at various levels, both at an individual and governmental level, need to be taken in order to solve this issue. Steps at individual levels involve not wasting water and utilizing the available resources wisely. The efforts that need to be made at governmental level include spreading awareness and using resources like water and fuel economically.

Inequality

Inequality is also a big global issue that is spreading very widely especially among the working class. It is not only a global issue but also an economical curse that results in the exploitation of the poor or overburdening the lower class of the society. Inequality can be solved mainly by increasing the minimum wages, investing in education and expanding the earned income tax.

Climate Change

The most common counter-argument that is presented in the case of climate change is that climate change is not real; it is just a hoax that is used to market sell the politics and grab attention. Another argument that is presented in this case is that climate change is not dangerous, at all, as the climate has been changing ever since the Earth came into being so it is a normal phenomenon.

Inequality

In the case of Inequality, the most common argument that is heard is that inequality is a natural part of the free market. People earn according to the effort they put in. So no two people can earn the same as their amounts of efforts or handworks are different.

The second point can also be nullified in the light of facts and figures and proven that although climate change is a constant phenomenon this time it is severe and it is huge.
