From the day, the Christ Church incident happened in New Zealand, I have been witnessing a trend of sharing videos of the gunmen, while he is shooting people ion the mosque. As evident from my mentioning of videos- it is sure that all such stuff has been happening on social media. While the primary platform for sharing this stuff was Facebook. As I have been reporting on the Christ Church incident, many people have been sending me the videos- or else have been mentioning in such stuff. This is how from the day the incident happened, I have been witnessing such stuff either on my accounts of the social media or through the Wtsapp messages, which are been forwarded to me by my acquaintances.

Form all such videos, which I have been watching very attentively, I have concluded many things, one being the mentioning of the previous such incidents and his possession of some more weapons. Since I have been reporting on such incidents throughout my journalism career, I have not seen any single person with such massive possession of weapons. As by the analysis of his manifesto, which he emailed too many important offices in New Zealand including the Prime Minister’s office; it appears that he had much information of the places he wanted to attack. He has mentioned that from December of 2017, he had been planning such attack. The selection of these two mosques had been done just three months prior. One of the surprising things about his planning remains- his decision of choosing these two mosques. I have been inquiring about his motive of choosing these two mosques. So far, what is evident is that because of his extreme anti- Muslim sentiments he wanted to kill as many of the Muslims as possible. So, apparently, this specific location provided him such an option.

Since I have been watching the videos, and I have remained completely attached to the unfolding of this tragic incident. I have observed one thing, that was seen in such previous incidents, and that is his manifesto. It is widely believed this his manifesto, has been inspired by some prior conspiracy theories about the white supremacy. His interpretation of these theories remains too horrific and different from all other prior such manifestos. I have also analyzed the writings over the gun, which shows that this incident of violence- on his part was supposed to be much horrific, and he tried to inculcate the psychological effects of the previous such incidents in it also.

right352425000Many journalists including me have tried to analyze the writings and symbols that were drawn by him on the gun allegedly. A close analysis of that scribbles appears that they were written in order to draw a link of this incident with such previous incidents. They were drawn with white color so that it could be read more easily and can become much visible to a large audience. For instance, one of the scramble writing included the name “Alexander Bissonette”, Bissonette was the man involved in the Quebec City Mosque shootings of 2017. I have also investigated that terror attack and this one shared many instances with that too. It will be too early to comment whether he wanted to pay homage to that man or just mention his name to make the world remember that the white crime still exists and this is not the new incident that came to the light today. I have also talked to some of the psychologists who had been involved in the investigation of this case and they have concluded that this is just about showcasing a psychological impact. This is so much disturbing that anyone who had witness any video related to this incident have a got a shock- as when he thinks that such things could happen also. Another important thing is his use of symbols. Like on his helmet I have observed that a symbol of the Black Sun has been attached. This is how he has connected his presence with the nomads in Europe. Being an investigative journalist I can take very much out of it. Its historical linkages, its linkages with the present day world, its usage as a terror sign and many more. If I just try to analyze the impact of this black sun sign with the current world, it appears that he has tried to elaborate that this day Muslim community in the New Zealand or Australia (from where he belonged) has taken over the region as a black sun. I have concluded that this has to be the major impact, he tried to portray upon everyone. Its historical interpretation can be noted with the fact that in the past the Europeans nomadic used to think that in the times when their existence will be near to end- the sun will turn black. This remains to be more elaborative. As I think it gives an impression that might be not just the Muslims but for him, the Europeans are the same threat as the Muslims are.

One more thing I have been reporting since this incident that till this day, there are people who believe that this sign is the sign of the White Supremacy, and they associate different myths to this. As I have been analyzing all other symbols attached to this incident, I have noticed that his interpretation of things has remained very wide and this is how he tried to portray inclusiveness to this whole situation. Jacinda Arden, the Prime Minister of New Zealand has stated that "The Friday noon of the 15th day of March has become the darkest day of our history. As a reporter, I have witnessed for the first time that any such incident had been coupled with a psychological attachment. For me, it is a new dynamic to the incidents of terrorisms. Behind all such effort him, whatever his motive actually was, it has brought something extra this time. This situation for everyone was of significant importance, as it has brought a shock to much of the media outlets and too much of the psychological impact organizations. The other aspect of this horrific episode, as according to the thoughts of any journalist is the use of Social media in much of the worse way. Although the Facebook administration claims that just two hundred people have watched the video live on Facebook, but the impact it has created by reshaping and reposting on social media is much disturbing. None in the history of such horrific incidents it has been seen that much of the things are been completed together to portray a dipterous episode. The gunmen have initially had thorough research on his, he then opted for the place, he got himself a gun license, he then bought other winery too and finally before heading toward the mosque he got himself live on the much-watched social media website the Facebook. Once the video had been broadcasted on Facebook, it was then reshaped and reached several times before getting removed by Facebook.
