Dear Harmony, after reading your discussion post I must say that you did an amazing job while explaining the essay and the documentary. Every individual is different from others and therefore every individual has different capabilities. Some people are excellent in multitasking but many are unable to manage multiple tasks at once. I agree with you that juggling many tasks in this technical era can divide attention and thus hindering’s an individual’s learning and performance. In her essay, the author Alina also highlighted the negative effects that multitasking can have on a person's performance (Wetherell & Carter, 2014). I also think that her essay lacks counter-arguments and focus solely on her opinion.
In the second part of your discussion, you have discussed the video where a teacher was being judged just because she was trying to teach a student what is right and what is wrong. I think that in our society people are very quick to judge others and the same issue was highlighted in the film. I believe that it is necessary to give other people a chance to explain themselves rather than judging people over something that is not their fault.

Dear Delroy, after reading your discussion post I must say that you did a commendable job in explaining the essay and the documentary. Some people are excellent in multitasking but many are unable to manage multiple tasks at once. However, it dies saves time as well. Throughout the article, the main focus of the author was to highlight that multitasking can increase the stress levels of an individual as it is difficult to manage multiple tasks at one point (Wetherell & Carter, 2014).
In the second part of your discussion, you have discussed the video in which a private school teacher was humiliated by the entire school and media just because she was right. I think that media often camouflage the stories and sensationalize every minor thing. In the film as well parents must have understood that their son was wrong rather they took media support and blamed the teacher. I agree with you that there is a need that every person must respect other people's opinions and perspectives. Also, people should not judge any person so quickly without listening to his or her perspective.
