Topic: How to Succeed in College

Introduction –

“A college degree is the key to realizing the American dream, well worth the financial sacrifice because it is supposed to open the door to a world of opportunity.” 

(Dan Rather)

Each person in the universe aspires to taste success and overcome the challenges with hard work. If I am asked to shed light on how to succeed, I shall term it the lifelong journey only if we are not lazy. At this moment, I will share my thoughts related to the critical phase of my life which is college. How to succeed in college will be the topic on which I shall put my humble views.

Thesis Statement - . The time spent in college is momentous and the key to success is taking effective notes, managing your time and studying thoroughly.

I. First Main Point – Taking effective notes

A. Each lecture should be attended regardless of the mood and revised back at home.

B. The major flaw in notes taking strategy is copying notes of follows or using them

II. Second Main Point – Managing your time

A. Make a schedule and follow it in true letter and spirits.

B. Taking 7 hours of sleep at night will offer 119 hours each week to do

C. Procrastination is the devil which not only eats your excellent grades but also

manifests in overall poor performance at college.

III. Third Main Point – Studying thoroughly

A. Always advance to acquire knowledge not only grades.

B. Establish a goal and strive to pursue it by studying in true letter and spirits.

C. It is essential to understand acing each subject, regardless of the interest, is not the

the only key to succeed in college.

Conclusion –

The time spent in college is momentous and the key to success is taking effective notes, managing your time and studying thoroughly.

Procrastination will kill the performance at college which h should be combated with following a strict schedule.

College is the nursery where inspiring people are polished and succeeding in college must be the aim of each student to contribute toward the American dream in the future.
