How can I not say something
Since the evolution of the human being, wars have always existed in many parts of the world. The wars can be classified into three categories which are political, civil, social or economic wars. A result of this war, property is destroyed and deaths are always noticed and therefore, a number of research has been based on wars in the society. Frankie, an American well-known singer, and a songwriter, scripted about a journey to Hollywood with a title two tribes. The song is based on a battle of political superiority between America and Russia.
Generally, in Frankies song two tribes he talks about the threat of the nuclear annihilation by Russia to America since it seemed to be real. In passing the information about the dangers of the wars, in the video that he produced with the music. He featured two gentlemen who were resembled the United Stated president Ronald Rigan and the Russian Prime Minister Konstantin Cherenkov who appeared fighting for supremacy. The genre states that in the nuclear war one is all that you can score which means that in the battle only one of the country can win.
The song goes ahead to speak about the casualties of the war, if the war was started both countries could have launched dangerous weapons to destroy the other country and therefore, the people within both the countries could have suffered. This is the verse where he talks about cowboy number one, a born again poor man son. This verse may also symbolize the soldiers who are to be sent to fight for the countries and end up suffering because of the orders from their tyrants. Frankie wrote this song as a concerned, responsible and a serious activist who is opposed to the wars that are castigated by the leaders.
Besides on the discussion of the topic about wars, a song sung by an American based band known as the manic street preachers with a title if you tolerate this, your children will be next. The main context of the song was that intercountry and continental political wars had lost meaning in modern society. During the composition of this song. Propaganda had spread, that forced a group of miners to move to Spain to help the soldiers that were there to fight against General Francos troops. A line in the song that is a serious quotation from Welshman says if I cannot shoot the rabbit then I can shoot the fascists. The song generally talks about a people who are tired of political wars caused by men who are not ready for peace, it also gives a picture of a people who are ready to do anything it takes to stop political wars within the society.
Generally, the two songs share the theme of wars. The song by Frankie was written back in 1980 when America and Russian had serious conflict about superiority while the song of the manic street preachers speaks about people who are tired of political wars. The song by Frankie uses symbolism to illustrate the fighting presidents of the two nations to bring out its main message, while manic street preacher band used a metaphoric statement.
In conclusion, both songs share the theme of war that is mainly the politically base war. They illustrate the damage caused, and the casualties affected during the wars. The songs also depict a picture of extremists who are tired of the political wars and are welcoming an upper hand for a peaceful existence among themselves. The singer intends to relay a message of peace and coexistence.
