It was like a burning bright scene for Montag. Montag has pictured this scene in an enchanting way by describing how technology has affected relationships. He was specifically thinking of Mildred whereas she was representing people from the television as her family instead of Montag. The idea that television has delivered to the people is that glamour is an important part of the lifestyle. Nevertheless, the most important thing for people is to care for people living beside them. The message of this quote is that technology has replaced relationships with the real world. In recent years, it is important to have many online friends to show off in front of people rather than having an actual true friend. Technology has created a fake world around people. This made it difficult for people to understand real entertainment and values. The importance of people and family has been declining in recent years, and it has been replaced with technology. This scene describes the feelings of Montag that he has for his wife while she watches television. The rising glamor of television has occupied most of the women's time which they would otherwise spend with their families. This world of glamour attracts women but they do not understand that this world is fake and just a wastage of time. This glamorous world does not encourage them to give importance to their families. Montag has described that television has replaced women. He has described that thinking of people has changed in recent years.
