Carnival Ride

Carnival can be described as the festival of colors, costumes, music, and happiness. The most intriguing thing about carnival is carnival rides. Since childhood, I have always been captivated by carnival rides and very fond of them. I always wonder what the inventors of the carnival rides might be thinking when they first build these terrifying-looking machines that instantly bring a smile on everyone's face. While reflecting upon my first experience with the carnival ride I remember the joy that I felt while riding Ferris Wheel. Looking at the enormous wheel spinning the life out of its caged tenants I was left awestruck. The droning sound of Ferris Wheel’s engine along with the screaming noise of people was something that I can never forget. The first ride that I took on the Ferris wheel gave me an immediate rush of adrenaline. As the wheel started to move a bit faster my heart started beating fast as if I had been doing a cardio workout. My throat shriveled as the wheel reached the top. I could see the whole carnival where everyone was enjoying. I could hear the sound of people laughing and cheering up their friends and family member that was on various rides. As the wheel descended back to the earth I heard a cymbal like sound and in just a glimpse I the Wheel was back to the top. Every new rotation of the Ferris Wheel boosted up my confidence and I felt relaxed and started to enjoy the ride. As the ride ended I felt a bit dizzy and numb. I was physical and emotionally drained. The experience was both nerve-wracking yet still, I enjoyed. This experience developed a strange fascination for the rides in me. Even now if I ever get the opportunity to visit a carnival I never forget to ride on a Ferris Wheel as the wonderful experience that I had the first time when I tried this ride is unforgettable.
