Human beings are one of the amazing wonders of God and are the main factor for the establishment of different societies. Human beings have divided themselves into different categories named "gender" based on their nature. It’s a socially constructed feature of men and women such as roles, norms, and relationships of and between men and women. While most of the people are born either male or female hence specific roles and responsibilities are associated with them by the societies, they live in. the recent development in gender categories has changed these norms and values for people as people are coming out with a different and more appropriate version of them. This includes Transgenders, people who feel that the sex they were assigned at their birth time does not match the gender that they feel from inside or their gender identity. It should be the least remarkable thing about someone but trans people are still being misunderstood by most of the people around them. To help such people who are nervous and scared to ask questions or saying the wrong thing, Jackson Bird who is transgender shares some of the ways to think about the problems of transgenders. Along with being a transgender Jackson is also a YouTuber and an LGBTQ+ advocator. Through his humor, he talks candidly to the Ted Talk audience about the misconceptions about transitioning, pronouns, bathrooms and asks people to stop confusing themselves on petty things.

Jackson Bird was twenty-five when he came out as transgender to his family, friends, and everyone linked to the internet. Growing up in Texas with assigned female gender roles, he always wondered about his identity and thought of being born as a boy and it was not so late when he came out as trans to his family. Today he is a renowned Youtuber, a writer and an inspiration to millions of transgenders. In his famous Ted talk, he shares his experience as transgender that how difficult it was for him to come out as a trans person and live around people who do not think it as a normal thing to accept. The topic he has chosen for Ted talk is associated with his identity and his existence as a trans person and through this platform he shares all the awkwardness people of his community and people of straight community feel around each other. The awkwardness comes from questions regarding sex, transition, using of washrooms either male or female and many more. He wants people to stop making the situation awkward for them and other people around them. They are as normal as a normal person could be because it is just a washroom not the end of the world, they can use any washroom they want either male or female. Coming to the use of pronouns, he requests people that if they can make an excuse to someone of mistaking a pet’s gender than they can also excuse the transgender. It is just the name that changes not the whole human being. All the other things including values, features, and nature remain the same. People just need to switch from one pronoun to another which is not difficult at all. He accepts the diversity of his audience in terms of backgrounds, beliefs, and values and also respects these values and demands the same in return. People with different gender identities share different values and respect or accept their position in the community as they take it a normal activity and just like that the speaker, Jackson also demands to look at their situation as normal. Another aspect of this Ted Talk is the effectiveness and ineffectiveness of the speaker's verbal delivery and it is pretty much clear that the speech is effective as the person who is talking on the topic himself belongs and associated with the topic. Therefore, one can have a strong belief on he is claiming. He shares his experience and relates his efforts with the ongoing issue of transgender. For example, during the speech, Jackson shares his experience of going through transition and shares how he faced difficulty in coming out and dealing with his transition. These are based on the actual happening from his life. The source that has been used for the speech is through the medium of a show called Ted Talk. He wants his message to be heard through this show as this is a famous show that has thousands of audience. This video by ted talk is a reliable source that can help people understand the situation of people of his community.

Gender biased-ness has been running in every society and been a topic of discussion for the last many years but now it is high time for people to understand the identity crisis and the struggle of other genders except males and females. People need to put a full stop on being surprised every time they see someone come out as transgender.
