The human condition is about the mind and rational nature of humans who have a limit for the worldly sufferings, either psychological or physiological (Newton, 2014). Humankind is the only creature of God to possess both elements of rationality, i.e., respect, justice, and dignity. These factors entail people to make the right choices or decisions of their life, and these are sources for the entire moral dilemma. Human welfare expands the ways of happiness rather than just the right choices. Therefore, duty requires a person to keep dignity above happiness, it limits the liberty of the individual and groups and protects the welfare of the majority. To preserve humanity and equality among all it is significant for sacrifice a few things over the other, regardless of the fact that it violates justice.

The injustice done to self and other comes under the section of ethics and the conflict occurs in values and imperatives. Values are defined as the desired state, whereas imperatives are the duties prescribed by institutions or society. Ethics is defined in terms of these values and imperatives, along with principles. The three concepts, i.e., justice, welfare dignity are centering on the beneficence of the individuals. These concepts have sub-imperatives regarding each part of ethics. The imperatives are based on the person's well-being and safety, and also to save them from getting involved in the harmful things, either for themselves or the others (Newton, 2014).

The ethical dilemmas arise from the fact that all types of imperatives are irrespective of each other and they have no obligation to one another. The conflict between these imperatives is the sole reason for the formation of ethical issues, the complexity and ambiguity of morals and standards highly hit the ethical considerations (Newton, 2014). The imperatives are not an optional thing in the society, thus a person has to follow them in order to achieve the three concepts of rationality.
