How is it related to God’s character?
Answer: Its character is related to God because of the character of love, and mission is derived from his character.
How is God’s mission characterized?
Answer: character is one of sending himself, always going, coming, sending in the mission. Sending and being sent is basic to who God is, and what God does.

Answer: The work which is meaningful for other people and beneficial for others, and it doesn’t give you any benefit.

Answer: the purpose of our lives is to love God, and become conformed to the image of Christ.
Read the section on Belief and Behavior in Chapter 12 of the textbook and James 2:14-26. What is the relationship between faith and action?
Answer: Without action, faith is like a dead body. As the soul is essential for the body, faith is essential for action.
According to Mark 8:34, is being a disciple of Jesus easy or costly?
Answer: According to Mark 8:34, Jesus is costly.
Read the section on The Work of the Holy Spirit in Chapter 12 of the textbook. List two functions of the Spirit in a Christian’s life.
Answer: The functions of the spirit in Christian’s life is to carry out the work of the father, and to work to make Christian like Jesus Christ.
According to the Westminster Shorter Catechism quoted in the lecture, what is the primary purpose of humanity?
Answer: The primary purpose of life is to glorify God, and to enjoy God forever.
Read 1 Corinthians 15:42-57 and list three characteristics of the glorified state.
Answer: Three characteristics of the glorified states are: first dead will be raised on the Day of Judgment, second the perishable body will be converted to imperishable, and finally the bodies will transform to perfection.
