Scholarship essay

I have been recently graduated from college. I have completed my engineering science degree. Throughout my career, I have faced a lot of challenges in achieving my education. My family was not that financially strong and couldn't afford my education which was a real concern for me but somehow I managed to complete my studies with the help of my mother and father. I would have never reached at this level without the support of my parents. My father is a very hard working person and whatever he earned from his job, he spends that on my education and my other expenses. My father worked at a superstore as a cashier. I also have two more siblings who are also dependent on my father's income (Gulick, 2018).

My mother is also a very hard working woman who works as a nurse in a hospital but both my parents combined income was not enough to fulfill the expenditures of me and my other siblings. My parents don't have the duty of our education expenditures but they also have to manage our personal and medical expenditures. We had to face a lot of problems as a family throughout my education career. During my college education, my parents have to get some loan from the bank for my studies. However, It was not enough to help me continue my higher education. As a result, I am searching for scholarships that could help me complete my education and decrease the burden of my studies from my parents (Gulick, 2018).

When I started my college education it was really hard for me to understand the education system of the college. After some time in college, I did not really understand the process of attending college. I was not having any idea in the college that how I can get scholarships. There are different tests which provide an individual with the opportunity to get scholarships for education but I was having no idea regarding any scholarship test. However, with the help of my teachers and some research, I learned about different methods which can help students to continue their education without paying any amount (Gulick, 2018).

I also searched for jobs during my college education to help my parents and at least able to take responsibility for myself with the income from my job. This was a great experience because I was able to understand how difficult it is to earn money and how easy it is to spend that money in seconds. With the income which I earned from my job, I also helped my parents to pay bills and maintain the house. Currently, I am continuing my job but I don't feel that I am earning enough income which will help me continue my higher education. I wanted to do masters and for that, I am currently searching for scholarships. I am also searching for a better job where I can earn more money as I am experienced person (Gulick, 2018).

I also did teaching as well during my college education to help my parents and cover my sibling's education expenses. Currently, I am in real need of scholarship so that I can continue my higher education. I wanted an opportunity which can help me to not only continue higher education but also allow me to cover the expenses of my parents and two other siblings. I have searched for many organizations but I found your foundation who is providing great opportunities to students. After finding your foundation, I felt like I can easily continue my education and easily accomplish my goals (Gulick, 2018).
