Objectives of the justice system
The objective of criminal justice is to protect public from criminals and deliver justice to every individual. Criminal justice cannot be limited to certain objectives whereas, this also includes punishing transgressors of crimes, rehabilitation of criminals and transgressors, maintenance of law and order, and deterrence of criminals from committing and criminal acts. Criminal justice follows certain steps to deliver justice including investigation of cases, charges, trials, and more.
Some laws and orders are mentioned in the constitution of the United States of America but still, few areas lack legal supervision of criminals with the help of the criminal justice system. However, the criminal justice of Livonia needs to improve system of deterrence of the criminals from committing crimes in the future, and the other system that needs to improve is the rehabilitation of the transgressors and the criminals. The Livonia criminal justice system follows two appreciative processes that include the investigation and trial processes. This gives chance to the criminal justice system to deliver justice system fairly to both public and criminals.
The objectives that need to be improved upon are to deter the offenders from committing any criminal act in the future, and the rehabilitation of the transgressors and the criminals. These objectives have to be fixed on the state level, and these fall in the category of state law and justice system. If these both are improved, then, ratios for crimes will decrease, and the criminal justice system may be improved in a way that, there will be lesser crimes.
Investigation and trial processes are the two processes that we are doing well, and these fall in the category of the criminology department at local levels. Criminals are given a chance to defend themselves with the help of law and justice and before any occurrence of a crime scene, a proper investigation by the criminology department is carried out.
