Medical support
This aid includes medical support in case of emergency situation that works in collaboration with the fire department to provide medical aid to the affected residents.
Mass care shelters
This aid encapsulates establishing shelters and allocating affected or at risk residents away from the susceptible area.
What are the three concepts of police forensic science?
Forensic science is referred to as the application of science in the fields of civil laws and criminal justice exclusively during criminal investigation that is governed by the ethical and legal standards of criminal procedure and admissible evidence. Its three concepts regarding police services include (Schafer, 2008):
Data collection: it is done through collecting the evidences regarding criminal event from other objects and persons and verify them through scientific methods i.e., DNA testing, finger printing, lie detectors, and Anthropometry.
Data preservation: it is usually done through documenting records either on paper or electronic devices which is then retrieved when required.
Data analysis: obtained data is analyzed to draw meaningful conclusions and unveiling the precipitating causes of incident.
What benefits are achieved by training police officers to uphold certain ideals?
Social learning theory of Albert Bandura states that human being is social animal. He learns new things from social interactions and observing others (Bandura, 1986). Applying this psychological theory to police department, upholding ideals may yield fruitful results when trainees observe ideals and try applying their learning for their personality and behavioral modifications.
