How Can People Say God Doesnot Exists?

Every person is different from others and so as our thoughts. The way an individual perceives nature and existence is also different. In a class where people belong from different religious, cultural, and social background, diversity is very common. However, most of the people have firm faith in one entity who is a creator of the whole world that is God. Belonging from a catholic family existence of God was something that was taught to me during childhood. Despite being taught regarding God's existence, I think that there is no doubt that God exists. During a discussion in class about God's existence, at first I thought why our teacher is discussing the topic as it is a fact that God exists, but I was shocked to see that many people do not believe in God's existence. According to them, the universe started from an explosion of light and energy, and there is Heaven and Hell is just a myth (Thomas). Thousands of questions arise in my mind in just a few seconds as to how can one does not believe in God's existence when everything present in nature points directly towards God's existence. After knowing their views and beliefs, our teacher was also shocked for a while as we were yet he respected their choice and suggested that we should indulge in a discussion that why God exists. After getting the opportunity, I immediately questioned my classmates that if they believe that due to the explosion, the universe came into being then why and how did the explosion happen. Also, what happens to the soul when humans die and why humans are only present on earth and not on other planets. Most of them answered the questions with just one sentence that there is a science behind this but were unable to explain how the science is behind all this (Meyer). After this interaction, I felt that due to the lack of education regarding religion and trying to follow the trend of being cool are one of the most important factors that cause people to doubt God’s existence. Moreover, due to several social issues, people are so frustrated and depressed that they deny God’s existence and without any proof just believe in random scientific theories that are not proven. However, their dos exists an entity that is running the whole universe and is the most powerful and the most merciful.
