The federal government has taken action against two hospitals in Philadelphia because of high rates of infections and injuries among patients (Two Philly hospitals penalized for high injury, infection rates, 2019). Albert Einstein Medical Center and Pennsylvania Hospital in Center City are charged by discounts in the payments of Medicare. I think it shows the completely unprofessional behavior of staff. Their Medicare is weakest to the inhumane point, and they should be charged even more than that. Infections and injuries that are caused by the carelessness of HCPs on this greater level are horrible to even think of. Such horrible practices can lead to death as well. I do not know why professionals like this do not get the point that life of their patient is everything and even a little carelessness in this field can cause drastic and dreadful results. Government should have taken the action earlier, this may have saved many patients from getting injuries and infections.

Part 2

I believe the health insurance plan is the best thing one can do for his/her life and for his/her loved ones. The goal of these health insurance companies is to provide people more opportunities to take care of their health. There are many commercials that I watch on TV every day in which these health insurance companies promise paramount medical care of people. I believe on these commercials because I know that today, there is a constant threat of so many diseases to the human body, it is becoming a requirement of everyones life to visit HCPs for the checkups and physical examination. Individuals usually do not pay attention to this matter because it costs them expenses, but with health insurance, they can avoid such expenses and pay more visits to HCP. Also, there is a great advantage that in case of emergency when one cannot afford heavy medical expenses, these insurance companies step in and take care of everything. For all these good reasons I am connected to health insurance too.
