Gettysburg Address
Headline: President Abraham Lincoln Honors the Brave Dead Souls
President Abraham Lincoln in his recent address with the nation honors and pays his tribute to the brave soldiers who laid their lives during the civil war. Here on Tuesday, a small ceremony was held as the inauguration or introduction service for the newly developed Gettysburg cemetery. The Gettysburg cemetery was long proposed as a sit for a cemetery, especially to be dedicated to those who have sacrificed their lives for the nation, in the recent Civil War.
The chief guest, who was invited to honor this service was none other than respected Mr. President, Abraham Lincoln. The president delivered a speech at this spiritual occasion and paid his tribute to all the soldiers, who had fought bravely to serve their nation (Randall, & Donald, 2016). Mr. President did not only feel for the humans who lost during the war but also for the animals, especially horses, whose corpses could not be disposed of properly after the war. In his moving speech, Mr. President became emotional at many instances and advised the audience to keep united and serve the nation of United States of America wholeheartedly, just like these soldiers (Conant, 2015).
