The dark knight rises is one of the most incredible films with excellent cinematography. The scene I selected from “The Dark Knight Rises” is “Bane’s attack on the airplane”. In any film, the introduction of a villain is a key aspect of grasping the audience's attention as it is highly important. In this particular scene “Bane’s attack on the airplane”.
The villain’s psychotic behavior was reflected in the minute he started speaking. At this time of the scene, the whole feel of the movie shifted into fear. His basic motive was to kidnap Dr. Pavel. The CIA agents along with some captured hooded mercenaries and Dr. Pavel entered in a plane. They wanted to move Dr. Pavel to the other location. It was then revealed that one of the hooded mercenaries was Bane. He overpowered all his captors inside the plane and with the help of his associates, he managed to escape the plane while crashing the plane and killing all the CIA agents brutally. To avoid getting caught he poured the blood of Dr. Pavel on one of the dead men who died during a fight in the plane (Jesser & Pourroy, 2012).
For every particular scene in the film, there lies a motivation behind it. Nolan being a James bond fan was highly influenced by the stunts in the James bond book. Specifically discussing the entry of Bane in a particular scene in which he hijacked the plane was the result of James bond stunts and Nolan’s creativity. Nolan’s motivation behind this particular scene was to generate fear of Bane among the audience. Bane is the key element in this entire scene (Joye & Walle, 2015). This scene is of immense importance regarding the film as it shows how much brutal Bane could be to achieve what he wants and how the worse enemy of Batman he could be in the remaining film.
