Illustrations in Persuasive text
Illustrations are often used in writings, instead of words to convey the message. Normally, illustrations are divided into two broad categories. These are figures and tables. Since in many writings, readers lose the focus of their attention because of the use of repetitive words, therefore graphic application and clip art further narrows the attention of the reader. As the writer use illustrations strategically and places them knowing the flow of text, it is how illustration adds meaning to writing. In the problem or solution proposal, I plan to focus on avoiding the use of illustrations, since it might distract the problem statement. Instead of using graphics, I plan to use, tables and flow charts in the problem/ solution proposal, as they authenticate the point under observation.
