Impact of both Organization on Nursing:
Both of these organizations have changed nursing practices significantly. These organizations have impacted nursing education, their professional training and as a result, different clinical practices that are in use have also evolved. The integration of modern technologies in nursing practices by these organizations have affected nursing practices greatly. Streamlining of information, the advancement of telehealth and mobile units in remote areas have greatly affected nursing practices.
Role in Nursing Education
Both of these organizations have played a vital role in the development of nursing education. The NLN has established several test development centers where knowledge about testing methods is being practiced and taught about. Their academy of nursing education help in recognizing talented individuals and help them financially and educationally. The WHO, on the other hand, has also developed different training centers all across the world for professional training of nurses in underdeveloped countries, especially in Africa. Through the world nursing report, they also plan on assessing the current conditions of Nurses and then start their training accordingly.
Role in Nursing Research
WHO has developed several organizations that help in the research to eliminate different diseases. These research centers include International Agency for Research on Cancer, AIDS, etc. Their surgical safety check is also used throughout the world in the nursing practices. The NLN also develops aptitudes for addressing the roles of nurses in specialized education. They have developed Advancing Care Excellence to research on the improvement of the quality of care. Advancement in simulations by NLN for real-world diseases has also helped in advancement of nursing research.
Role in Nursing Excellence
Both organizations play their part in nursing excellence through political activism, providing research facilities, education, technical and financial support. WHO have made research and free health facilities such as research facility on cancer, in underdeveloped regions of Africa and Asia. For better quality in nursing practices, NLN also developed testing services and different centers for nursing education.
Providing Support
Yes, I will provide my support to both of these organizations. The basic purpose of choosing nursing as a profession was to help others in their need. Both of these organizations are doing a very adequate job of improving the nursing education and technologies associated with it. I will also get a chance to develop as a nurse and also help humanity.
