Part II
World has become a global village with different nations of the world having diverse culture establishing close and people to people contact without much difficulty. Massive boom in population and availability of latest technologies have eased our lives and also generated resources to coup up its demands. It was not like this in the 17th and 18th century; when people were dependent upon hands on jobs, agriculture and industries coming up to produce products. This required massive human resource and resulted in human trafficking from Africa and other parts of the world to America to deal with the requirements. This working group mainly comprised of black people from within and outside America, who were given discriminatory treatments in all walks of life.
It is important for everyone to learn about the history of mankind in general and your own society in particular. This not only provides you with the insight of what was happening at that time but also teaches you that the happy and developed America which you see nowadays was developed through number of sacrifices.
This course was not only enlightening but at times it revealed such surprising and horrific facts which are really hard to believe. The course provided me with an opportunity to gain knowledge about the history of America which concerns the black people. It allowed me to be thankful to the incessant sacrifices of ancestors who fought for the right and for the correct path of our great nation. The important aspect is to keep the teachings of our history close to us and adapt them appropriately in our lives and governmental policies. Being the forerunner of global politics, it is also essential for us to urge the developing/ under developed countries of the world to practice the principles of equality, justice and similar dealings with all ethnic and racial castes.
